Mambo Italiano (2003)

Set in Montréal, a man from the Italian sector struggles with coming out of the closet to his parents and community. Of course, the comedy is largely based on Italian machismo in the face of homosexuality. The story is a moral tale of a family's unconditional love and it really doesn't stray much further from this. It's a sanitized and fairy tale look at some people's real life misery.
