Me and You and Everyone We Know (2005)
I saw this in an arthouse theatre four years ago and remember it as a striking film about community. It still is.
We see lives intertwine in an American northwestern town. Divorcees, their two sons, neighbour girls, a gallery manager, a coworker, an elderly man and his quirky elder cab driver. The conclusion is that people just need to be loved.
The writing, directing was done by one of the actors. She did a terrific job - a great film! (if you can handle some rather squeamish scenes)
