The TV Set (2006)
This film centres in on the production of a TV pilot episode and the artistic integrity that gets hammered in the process by the network execs.
I liked that the film kept the main character, a writer played by David Duchovny, real and grounded in some sense while his opponents were practically joke characters - impossible to take seriously. Everything goes downhill and we are asked what it is that we watch on TV if it isn't crap.
