Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002)

Chuck Barris would have us believe a story about his life that no one can corroborate. Believe it or not, it's a formidable tale and the telling of it should rest alongside the exotic biopics of Andy Kaufman and Domino Harvey.

After making it big as a TV show producer, Barris is approached to become an assassin for the CIA. There's a personal life in there too.

The best part of the film, story aside, is the fantastic acting from Sam Rockwell and George Clooney (who also began his directing career with this film). I was also impressed by the impeccable writing of the always stellar Charlie Kaufman.
