Office Space (1999)
Office Space satirizes the modern worker - the white collared and tender handed male.
Data entry clerks and computer programmers for a large firm decide that their lives are not synonymous with life. One of the them, through a freak hypnosis accident, begins to show that he no longer cares what his boss says and begins to live a little. His life begins to infect some coworkers and their eyes are slowly opened.
Mike Judge, the filmmaker, gives us plenty of hilarity, but with a mite of pathos. Kudos to him for making this classic, low budget flick, but it fails to draw its viewers in past a few laughs.
